Visitors and paranormal investigators have reported unexplained sounds, lights and apparitions around portions of the historic Magnolia Plantation complex.
Magnolia Plantation preserves significant buildings and landscapes associated with Louisiana plantation history and slavery. Paranormal accounts associated with the site include unexplained sounds, lights and apparitions reported in former work, hospital and residential areas. The main plantation house remains privately owned; National Park Service visitor access applies only to designated portions of the historic complex.
