Housed in a historic nineteenth-century building, Elevator Brewery is associated with reports of a ghostly former military officer. Employees have reported apparitions, footsteps, and unexplained activity after closing.
The ghost of a colonel murdered here by a woman he loved has been reported in the tavern. His apparition, which appears as a ghostly ball of light, has been observed floating around the building. Footsteps often appear in the snow outside the tavern when there is no one around.
