Guests at the Emily Morgan Hotel report unexplained cold sensations, medicinal odors and other strange activity, particularly on floors formerly associated with medical treatment and in the basement.
The building now occupied by the Emily Morgan Hotel began life in the 1920s as the Medical Arts Building, containing doctors' offices and medical facilities before becoming a hotel in 1984. Its seventh, ninth and upper floors, along with the basement, are frequently identified in ghost lore as paranormal hot spots because of their former medical uses. Guests have reported sudden cold sensations, the smell of medicine where no obvious source exists and other unexplained disturbances throughout the hotel.
