The Erie Canal Museum occupies Syracuse's historic 1850 Weighlock Building. Paranormal lore associated with the building includes translucent children seen around the courtyard, a spectral woman associated with a drowning story, two unseen men heard arguing and unexplained activity in the museum's library and offices.
