Frank Lloyd Wright's famous Fallingwater has inspired numerous ghost stories involving a solitary female apparition and unexplained activity within the house. Staff and visitors have reported strange sounds and unusual experiences.
A solitude woman is said to be seen staring out of the window of the master bedroom. She is believed to the first wife of Edgar Kaufmann, depressed by his unfaithfulness.
