Reported Haunting
The Forum Theatre has long been associated with reports of paranormal activity from performers and staff. Witnesses have described phantom footsteps backstage, shadow figures, disembodied voices, and unexplained movement of stage equipment. Many believe former performers still linger inside the historic theater.
Originally built in 1926 as the Strand Theatre, it was acquired by the city of Jonesboro in the late 1970s and renamed the Forum Theatre. It is said to be haunted by a mischievous ghost named Charlie.
