Established in the late 1800s, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base is one of the oldest continuously active military installations in the nation. Numerous ghost stories describe apparitions, phantom footsteps, and unexplained activity in several of its historic buildings.
This late-1800s Air Force base appears to be popular with the spirit set. Supernatural activity has been reported in the dorms, and ghostly cavalry soldiers have been known to frequent the area. It is reported that the female security team members have been the targets of some spirited pranks perpetrated by the ghosts.
