THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Local legend claims Frear Park is haunted by a mysterious ghostly figure seen wandering near the golf course and wooded areas after dark. Witnesses have also reported strange lights and unexplained sounds.
Local lore has it that there is a “ghost beast” that lives at Frear Park. It is known to jump on cars, and is heavy enough to shake it as if a full-sized person were sitting on your trunk. Sometimes claw marks are left behind.
