THE STORY
Reported Haunting
One of America's oldest operating inns, the General Stanton Inn is associated with reports of ghostly guests, unexplained footsteps, and mysterious voices dating back generations.
At this historic inn, witnesses have seen apparitions, especially of a male in the Washington Room. Also reported have been ghostly taps on the shoulder in both the Washington Room and Williamsburg Room, and a mannequin’s finger was thrown at a workman in the attic.
