THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Several historic buildings on the Goddard College campus have become the subject of ghost stories over the years. Students and staff have reported apparitions, footsteps, and unexplained voices.
The manor house is believed to be haunted. A tale is told about a prospective student who walked in and asked a man who was playing a piano for directions, but the man just kept on playing as if he hadn’t heard her. The student left in a huff, then turned to see the piano player looking at her. He laughed demoniacally and disappeared.
