Reported Haunting
Harbour Oaks Inn is said to be haunted by former guests and residents connected to the historic Gulf Coast property. Visitors have reported apparitions, phantom footsteps, unexplained voices, and doors opening on their own during overnight stays. The inn has earned a reputation for friendly paranormal encounters.
Sadly, the Harbour Oaks Inn was completely demolished by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and Anthony Brugger perished inside the crumbling home. Diane built some small cottages on the property which are now available as vacation rentals, called “Habour Oaks Cottages”.
