The Hay-Adams Hotel overlooks Lafayette Square across from the White House and is famous for the ghost of Marian "Clover" Adams. Guests have reported hearing a woman's voice, unexplained footsteps, mysterious laughter, and unusual activity in rooms overlooking the square.
