Reported Haunting
Heceta Head Lighthouse has guided ships along Oregon's rugged coast since 1894 and is famous for the spirit of Rue, the lighthouse keeper's wife. Visitors have reported apparitions, mysterious footsteps, unexplained lights, and doors opening on their own. It is widely regarded as one of the Pacific Northwest's most haunted lighthouses.
