Reported Haunting
The abandoned Hickory Valley Methodist Church is known locally for eerie sounds reportedly heard around the old wooden building. Visitors have described unexplained singing, voices, and other noises seemingly coming from the empty church, contributing to its reputation as a haunted rural landmark.
The church is a small, wooden building located near the cemetery across the road. If you approach the church at night, you can hear people singing hymns, but there is no one around. Sometimes the apparitions of young children can also be seen at the Hickory Valley Methodist Church.
