The Hotel Leger is said to be haunted by founder George Leger, who was murdered in 1879 and whose apparition has reportedly been seen around the historic property. Guests and employees have also described unexplained footsteps, voices, and other ghostly activity throughout the hotel.
Sightings of George Leger who died in 1879 have been reported. He has been seen walking the halls throughout the hotel. People also claim to hear a woman crying and there have been some sightings of a young girl ghost sitting by the fireplace.
