Hotel Lincoln has developed a reputation for ghostly apparitions, mysterious noises, and unexplained activity believed to involve former guests.
This historic log hotel was built in 1928, and is believed to be haunted by up to three apparitions. The first is a ghostly woman in a Victorian gown, who some believe to be a former prostitute. She has been seen in various rooms, hallways and staring down into the street. The second is a gold mine investor known by staff as Jack. The third are several ghostly children who roam an upstairs corridor, and who’s ghostly laughter is often heard. In Room #21, a strange spicy aroma has been smelt by some, while a candle stealing ghost haunts Room #17.
