Reported Haunting
Guests at the Inn at Clearwater Pond have reported encounters with the spirit of a former resident believed to still occupy the property. Apparitions, footsteps, and unexplained sounds have all been reported.
Mr. Tewksbury committed suicide here in the early 1800’s. He lurks in our hallways, family room, backyard and guest rooms. I have seen him many times, my housekeepers have seen him, my guests have seen him. He can be either male or female. He knocks on doors, he walks in the backyard and then disappears, he walks into guest rooms while people are sleeping and taps on their shoulders, he frightens myself and guests with constant talking, he breaks things in the middle of the night.
