The Jennie Wade House marks the place where Jennie Wade became the only civilian killed during the Battle of Gettysburg. Visitors have reported her apparition, unexplained footsteps, mysterious voices, and unusual activity throughout the preserved home. Its direct connection to one of the Civil War's defining battles has made it one of Gettysburg's most famous haunted sites.
