Reported Haunting
The Kaminski House is one of Georgetown's best-known haunted landmarks. Witnesses have reported apparitions, footsteps, and unexplained activity inside the historic structure.
The Kaminski Building is one of two that house Georgetown’s Rice Museum. The 1842 Kaminski Building was a retail store for many years. Witnesses at the museum have heard footsteps, including one set that sounds like it has a peg-leg, in the art gallery. It is also believed that an antique sideboard in the museum may be connected to a slave woman’s ghost.
