Reported Haunting
The ruins of the former Kennall Vale gunpowder works are associated with reports of ghostly workers and unexplained sounds among the abandoned industrial remains. Visitors have described hearing phantom footsteps and other noises in the woods, sometimes attributed to workers killed in explosions during the site's dangerous years of operation.
This location was once a gunpowder works, but now is a woodlands covered in moss. One particular incident here involved an explosion that killed a man who is still reportedly seen here.
