Local legend claims the cemetery is haunted by the spirits of workers who died during construction of nearby Mount Rushmore. Visitors have reported strange lights and ghostly figures.
Many workers who died during the construction of Mt. Rushmore are buried in this cemetery that overlooks the Mount itself. It is said that visitors who have taken video of this graveyard have caught images of ghostly figures and faces.
