THE STORY

Reported Haunting

America's oldest continuously operating inn has accumulated centuries of ghost stories, including reports of apparitions, phantom footsteps, and unexplained voices.

This circa 1681 inn is said to be the oldest continually operating inn in the U.S. And with a title like that, it’s bound to have a few ghosts around. Folks here have seen the apparition of a man wearing a top hat and tails. They’ve also witnessed chairs and silverware that move by themselves, pictures that fly off the walls, and doors that slam shut when no one is there.
