THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The unfinished station is linked to the legendary Silverpilen ghost train and the ominous saying, "Only the dead get off at Kymlinge."

Kymlinge Metro Station is a partially constructed Stockholm Metro station whose development was halted before it opened. It later became linked to the legend of Silverpilen, a real silver-colored backup subway train that inspired stories of a supernatural train carrying strange passengers. In one version, a young woman boards the train and eventually arrives at locked Kymlinge Station, where the other passengers pass through the doors and disappear. The legend inspired the saying that only the dead get off at Kymlinge.
