One of Houston's oldest bars, La Carafe is famous for reports of ghostly patrons on its upper floor. Employees have described unexplained footsteps, moving furniture, and apparitions dressed in period clothing.
The unoccupied second floor is the site of most of the haunting claims. People report ghostly footsteps and items moving as well as the full-body apparition of a large black male ghost.
