This restaurant was started in 1972 by Ernest Frohme, and is still in operation today under the watchful eye of his daughters, Carmen and Simone. According to Deborah Frethem’s “Ghost Stories of St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Pinellas County” the restaurant is haunted by a playful spirit. She speculates that it might be Ernest, still looking over his beloved restaurant.
