La Posada de Santa Fe occupies one of the city's oldest properties and has become known for the ghost of Julia Staab, the wife of a wealthy merchant. Guests have reported apparitions, mysterious footsteps, unexplained voices, and unusual activity throughout the historic hotel. It remains one of Santa Fe's best-known haunted destinations.
