Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument preserves the site of the 1876 Battle of the Little Bighorn, where Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer and more than 260 soldiers lost their lives. Visitors have reported ghostly cavalrymen, phantom gunfire, unexplained voices, and apparitions across the battlefield. It is widely regarded as one of America's most haunted military sites.
