Los Cerrillos is one of New Mexico's best-known ghost towns and is associated with reports of lingering spirits from its mining boom days. Visitors have reported apparitions, phantom footsteps, mysterious voices, and unexplained lights throughout the historic town. Many believe former miners and residents still haunt the area.
