The building once housed the clinic of prominent Orlando physician Dr. John McEwan and later became associated with reports of unexplained paranormal activity. Employees and visitors have described unusual sounds and ghostly encounters believed to be connected to the property's earlier history.
John McEwan was a well-respected doctor who arrived in Orlando in 1906. This building, now home to the “Central Station Bar,” was originally his clinic. Several Orlando ghost tours stop here, claiming the building is haunted – apparently the elevator will move between floors entirely on its own.
