The Menger Hotel in San Antonio has welcomed guests since 1859 and is famous for numerous resident spirits, including chambermaid Sallie White. Visitors have reported apparitions, mysterious footsteps, unexplained voices, and unusual activity throughout the historic hotel. It remains one of Texas's most celebrated haunted hotels.
