The Missouri State Penitentiary housed some of the nation's most dangerous criminals for more than 160 years. Visitors have reported phantom inmates, unexplained voices, slamming cell doors, shadow figures, and intense paranormal activity throughout the prison. It is widely regarded as one of America's most haunted penitentiaries.
