THE STORY

Reported Haunting

Seattle's historic Moore Theatre is said to be haunted by the spirit of a former actor who died from a drug overdose. Employees and performers have reported apparitions, phantom footsteps, and unexplained activity backstage.

The theater is reported to be the site of a drug overdose by deceased Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Some say that theater namesake Mr. Moore still resides here, as well as some of the female actresses who performed on this stage long ago. A phantom smell of cigar smoke has been known to waft from the seats, and witnesses have described an eerie feeling of being watched.
