Reported Haunting
The historic Winter Gardens Theatre has numerous reports of paranormal activity, particularly in its main auditorium. Visitors and investigators have described being pushed, slapped, or otherwise touched by an unseen presence, along with unexplained footsteps, voices, and apparitions throughout the building.
In the main auditorium, people have been pushed, slapped, and harrassed by someone who isn’t there. In the dressing romo, a failed actress is heard muttering and commonly is said to have a moody energy. The cellar has the highest amount of psychic energy here; people have had sudden mood swings, heard growling, and sometimes, voices have told people leave. Other less harmful spirit are said to occupy here as well.
