Reported Haunting
Morey Mansion is said to be haunted by its original owners, David and Sarah Morey. Paranormal investigators have reported unusual photographs, orbs, unexplained hot spots, and markings resembling Sarah's initials. Both spirits are believed to remain attached to the historic Redlands residence.
The Morey Mansion was built in 1890 by David and Sarah Morey, and it is said that both of them remain in the house today. Reports say Sarah died a tragic death and her husband committed suicide shortly thereafter, in 1901. The house became a bed-and-breakfast in 1985. Ghost-hunting teams have captured photographs and other evidence of the initials S.M. (Sarah Morey), orbs, and hot spots. As of 2010, the home has been a private residence.
