Mudhouse Mansion became one of Ohio's most infamous haunted houses before its demolition in 2015. Legends attributed the activity to murdered families, enslaved people, and a woman connected to the Bloody Mary story, though the tales varied widely and were never historically confirmed. Visitors reported apparitions, unexplained noises, and an oppressive atmosphere around the abandoned mansion.
The house is an abandoned private residence, and the owner will sue you if you illegally visit the house without her permission. A white apparition has been seen standing at the front windows of the house, and strange lights move around the upper levels. Ghostly slaves and murdered family members have been seen and heard in the house.
