This place was once an asylum for the old, disabled, and mentally challenged and people believe that many of its former residents still haunt the extensive grounds and buildings. There are a variety of sightings and spectral happenings and ghosts from human to canine. People claim to hear children crying in a wing that was once an infirmary, there have been sightings of a woman in several of the rooms and some claim a ghost dog wakes them up in the middle of the night by shoving a cold snout in their faces.
