THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The spirits of Lord Ninian Edward Crichton-Stuart and museum architect Dunbar Smith are reportedly associated with the museum, where unexplained voices have also been recorded.

The National Museum Cardiff is reportedly haunted by Lord Ninian Edward Crichton-Stuart, who died during World War I and is said to appear particularly around election nights. Architect Dunbar Smith had his ashes interred at the museum before they were moved during renovations. His spirit is now said to haunt the corridors, and investigators have reportedly captured unexplained voices attributed to him.
