Oaklawn Memorial Gardens is associated with reports of ghostly apparitions and unexplained paranormal activity after dark. Visitors have described mysterious lights, shadow figures, unexplained voices, and sudden cold spots among the graves. Local legends have made the cemetery a destination for ghost hunters.
At Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, several graves date back to the 1800s and there is said to be a statue of Jesus missing several fingers and an eye. Witnesses say ghostly orbs turn up in some photos taken here.
