THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Oaklyn Manor Bar & Grill in Oaklyn, New Jersey, is a historic neighborhood institution plagued by a long history of poltergeist-like occurrences. Longtime bartenders and staff have documented experiencing glasses mysteriously clinking on their own and heavy beer trays flying off the counter completely untouched. Visitors also report catching glimpses of a strange white vapor floating through the dining rooms, accompanied by the disembodied sound of the former owner’s mother speaking in empty rooms.
Incorporated in 1933, there are ghosts that haunt the Manor. From bottles clinking to beer kegs rolling on their own. ghosts have roamed the three bar rooms and two apartments. Recently a beer tray flew off the shelf without any wind. Hearing bottles clinking, the bartender checked out what he thought were broken bottles in the basement -there were none. The bartender was tapping a new keg when another key rolled toward him head over bottom and there was no one there. Had he not gotten out of the way he may not be here today. Numerous white vapor sightings in the three restaurant rooms.
