This uniquely shaped historic home has long been associated with paranormal activity. Visitors have reported apparitions, mysterious footsteps, and unexplained noises echoing through the octagonal structure.
The historic 12-room home, actually shaped like an octagon, is believed to be haunted. Operating now as a museum, it is said to be home to the spirit of a young boy whose aparition has been seen throughout the house. Witnesses also report items that are moved or disappear, doors that open and close on their own, footsteps, shadowy figures, cold spots, and unexplained lights and sounds. One report says that a spinning wheel was taken completely apart in a matter of a few seconds.
