THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Paranormal investigators report EVPs, mists, orbs, temperature changes, footsteps, disembodied voices, slamming doors, light anomalies and occasional physical interaction inside the historic courthouse and jail. (Submission by Ken Sandow Paranormal Investigator)
The historic Amador County courthouse and jail in Jackson has an established paranormal-investigation tradition. A submitted firsthand account describes EVPs, mists, orbs, cold and hot spots, unexplained light anomalies visible in infrared, footsteps, disembodied voices, doors slamming and an investigator's shirt being pulled. The submitter also reports interactive responses during investigations and says archival research identified four deaths on the property. These experiences are presented as reported paranormal activity rather than verified supernatural fact.
