The Old Arsenal Building (the Tower Building at MacArthur Park) in Little Rock, Arkansas, is deeply haunted by spectral soldiers and historical figures from its 1840 military past. Visitors and staff frequently witness full-bodied apparitions wandering the halls, experience sudden cold spots, and hear disembodied military music, marching footsteps, and hushed whispering. The most famous entity is the restless spirit of David O. Dodd—a 17-year-old Confederate spy hanged on the arsenal grounds—while a malevolent shadow figure is notorious for pushing people down the main staircase.
