THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The former DeLand Memorial Hospital, now preserved as a museum, is said to retain spirits from its years as a medical facility. Visitors and paranormal investigators have reported apparitions, unexplained voices, footsteps, and other activity believed to be connected to former patients and staff.
Built in the 1920s this structure now houses the DeLand Memorial Hospital Museum. Some locals swear they have seen ghostly faces looking out through the windows. Another apparition of a man has been spotted sitting in the gazebo on the surrounding grounds, near the Veterans Memorial Wall.
