THE STORY
Reported Haunting
A firsthand witness account from the former Galey & Lord Warehouse #2 in Society Hill describes disembodied voices, hearing a name called, a heavy oppressive feeling in the building, and one startling incident in which an unseen force struck the witness in the back while he was operating a forklift deep in an aisle with no nearby exits.
The former Galey & Lord Warehouse #2 in Society Hill, South Carolina, is tied to a firsthand account of unexplained activity inside the building. The witness reports hearing voices, hearing his name called, and feeling a heavy or oppressive atmosphere at times while inside. In the most dramatic experience, while driving a forklift down an aisle with no exits on either side, the witness felt something hit him hard in the back with enough force to make him believe someone had jumped onto the forklift. He immediately stopped and turned around, but no one was there, and there was nowhere nearby for a person to hide or escape.
