The Old Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, Kentucky, has welcomed travelers since the late eighteenth century and is closely associated with the ghost of Jesse James. Guests have reported apparitions, mysterious footsteps, unexplained voices, and bullet holes said to have been left by the outlaw. It remains one of Kentucky's best-known haunted taverns.
