THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The former Orange County Courthouse, now home to the Orange County Regional History Center, has been associated with unexplained activity including objects reportedly moving or falling without apparent cause. Some local ghost stories speculate about a connection to serial killer Ted Bundy, who was tried in the building, although there is no evidence that his spirit actually haunts the site.

Weird things happen in the building, objects move and levitate, and some blame Bundy’s ghost. Other see ghostly lawyers, waiting for trials that finished decades ago.
