Visitors have reported footsteps, voices, the sensation of being watched and the sounds of children, particularly a young girl, inside the historic mansion.
Built in 1889 for inventor and industrialist David H. Burrell, the imposing stone mansion became one of Little Falls' best-known historic homes. Paranormal stories include footsteps, elderly women's voices, children heard moving through empty halls and the sound of a young girl playing or crying.
