Reported Haunting
Palm Cottage is Naples' oldest surviving home and is associated with reports of ghostly activity connected to its early residents. Visitors have reported phantom footsteps, mysterious voices, shadow figures, and unexplained cold spots inside the historic house. The cottage has earned a local haunted reputation.
This is the oldest house in Naples, dating back to 1895, and is now open to the public for guided tours thanks to the Naples Historical Society. Ghostly encounters here started, as happens so often, it seems, during renovations. Workers noticed that their tools would constantly be moved, and they felt cold spots in certain hallways.
