THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The Palmyra Historical Museum in New York is allegedly plagued by active paranormal activity stemming from a tragic 1964 house fire that killed a mother and her six children on the property. Paranormal investigators and museum visitors frequently report hearing the disembodied voices of children, capturing unexplained audio recordings, and witnessing toys being moved by invisible hands. The 23-room facility, which sits directly over the burn site, is also known for sudden cold spots, items falling off the walls, and fleeting sightings of phantom cats.

At this location in 1964, a mother and her six children died in a house fire. The museum is located on top of the site where the house burnt down. The children play around the museum and have been spoken to during ghost hunts. Other paranormal activity includes items falling off the walls, EVPs recorded with different voices from other spirits that roam around the building.
