Paramount Studios has been the site of numerous reports of paranormal activity throughout its long Hollywood history. Employees have described apparitions, phantom footsteps, mysterious voices, and shadow figures on sound stages and backlots after hours. Several spirits are believed to linger among the historic studio buildings.
Hollywood Memorial cemetery is right behind this building and closest to the stages between 29 and 32. People are seen walking around in 1930’s to 1940’s attire, usually through walls. Electrical equipment for sound and lights are commonly tampered with by unseen forces. Doors are also heard slamming and footsteps are heard when no one else is around.
